Today is the Enemy of Tomorrow

Some things seem so important today.

The invoice that hasn’t been paid yet. The bill that I forgot to pay on time. How good a cheeseburger and coke sound for lunch. What happens in the next season of the show I just started? I need to get that contract signed and I’ve got 34 unread emails this morning.

It’s easy to let the constant barrage of things that seem so important today make my decisions about what actually is important today.

But which of these things (or maybe something else) position me, those I love, and this world for a better tomorrow?
